Software deployment rules are managed by fully-customized processes in the Business Process Management (BPM) module. Several types of process are supported: immediate download, automatic deployment by a remote software distribution tool such as Microsoft® SMS/SCCM, or a more or less complex approval channel that obtains all the approvals necessary for installation. Before each deployment, the solution lets you first check the stock of licenses still available and the list of pending requests, and warns you if you exceed the critical threshold. If you exceed the threshold, you can take whatever steps are necessary to upgrade the software by placing another order or by checking the level of usage of the existing licenses and re-allocating them.
